I’ll always remember Kris as the quiet, but enthusiastic 5th grader I met in bantam football. He always had a his trademark smile on his face and was a good friend and teammate.

My memory of Kris is a smiling 5th grade Bantam football player who seemed to take joy in his success. While he was tough and rugged as a football player, there was also a gentleness and kindness in his nature. Clearly one of my all time favorites to have coached. I am saddened and pray that he now has peace and serenity. I will always remember his smile.

Kris was always polite, friendly, and an extremely kind person. I don’t know that I ever saw him without a smile. He was an all around good guy and I’m very sorry to hear of his passing. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

I didn’t know Kris outside of school, but he was a T.A. in one of my classes. Back then I looked up to him. He was a great guy and just all around awesome. I am very sorry to hear about his passing. 14 years later I can still remember him making the class fun and how he tried to push us to do better.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Kris. He was one of my students who I always thought of as one of my “art kids”. Later in life he was not someone who I considered only as a former student, but a friend as well. He was a great kid to be around and will be sorely missed! I will always remember his big smile, sense of humor and enthusiasm for everything he did. My thoughts are with his family and friends!
