Kimberly “Kimmy” Jo Palmer, 43, of Frankfort, IN, passed away June 30, 2019. She was born on November 15, 1975 at Fort Ord in Monterey County, California to Joseph and Susan (Zeigler) Palmer.
Kimberly was a lifelong Frankfort resident. She attended Frankfort Schools and was currently working to obtain her GED. She worked various jobs during her life and loved to volunteer. She organized the first Police and Fire Chili Cookoff to raise funds for police tasers. She attended Harvest Chapel in Frankfort and enjoyed playing Bingo, garage sales, amusement parks, and loved spending time with her daughter.
The family would appreciate donations to National Alliance on Mental Illness “NAMI” to help others find help for their mental illness. Kimmy finally has found peace from hers.
Visitation and Services
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St. Frankfort, IN. Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery, Michigantown, IN.
Survived by:
Surviving along with her parents are her Daughter: Breeanna Palmer of Frankfort; Sister: Jodi (Bill) Gleason of Salem, IN; Nephew: Christian Gleason of Salem, IN; Aunt: Karen (Charlie) Weaver of Frankfort; Uncle: Mark (June) Palmer of Frankfort; Several cousins and close friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Virgil and Geraldine Zeigler, paternal grandparents: Joseph and Irma Palmer, aunt: Kathy Fuel, and uncle: Jim Zeigler.
