Jeanette Edith Price 94, of Jefferson, IN, died at 9:10 a.m. June 19, 2009 at Clinton House Health and Rehabilitation Center, Frankfort, IN. Born June 30, 1914 in Clinton County, she was raised in the home of Frank C. & Orpha Mitchell. Married Harold M. Price on November 5, 1932 in Jefferson and he preceded her in death on April 15, 1995.Edith was a 1932 graduate of Jefferson High School and a lifelong Mulberry/Jefferson area resident. She worked as a sales clerk at J.C. Penney’s for 8 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Jefferson.

Visitation and Services

Services 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, June 22, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Charity of Choice. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.

Son: Robert J. (Marilyn) Price of Frankfort, IN
5 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren

Preceded by:

Preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Julia E. Wyatt on September 29, 1997, three brothers and one sister.

    So sorry to hear of your grandmother’s passing. She was a sassy lady with a big heart. You should know that she loved and appreciated everything you did for her. At times, I know that she didn’t show or say the things she should to you, but she did tell me.
    She will be missed, but she is with our Lord now and healthy and happy.
