Jean Swope Dieterle

Jean Swope Dieterle 87 of Frankfort, died at 9:30 p.m. June 6, 2011 at Wesley Manor Health Care Center in Frankfort. Born January 16, 1924 in Boone County, IN to the late Laurel E. & Eva (Smith) Swope. She married Larry G. Dieterle on November 21, 1945 in Mulberry, IN and he preceded her in death on August 19, 1990. Mrs. Dieterle retired from the Indiana Gas Company in 1986 after 32 years as a customer service representative. She was a 1941 graduate of Kirklin High School and her memberships included the Elizaville Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Women of the Moose and the Lady Elks. She loved her family and among her many interests were, reading, working in her yard, was an avid Cubs fan and Jeff Gordon fan.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Wesley Manor Chapel. Visiting will begin at 9 a.m. at Wesley Manor. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Guardian Angel Hospice.

(Beckie) (Husband-Mike) Miller of Colfax, IN 1 Sister: Jane Lane (Husband-George) Hopp of Frankfort 2 Grandsons, Pete (Maggie) Teter of Frankfort and Louis Miller of Colfax 2 Great Granddaughters, Aubrey & Payton Teter

    Karen Hendricks just contacted me and told me of the death of your mother. Mom and are are so sorry to hear about her passing. She was a wonderful lady and I remember many times spending the night at your house and enjoying her and your father’s company. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
