James Philip Barnett 27, of Austin, TX, died June 3, 2013 at his home in Austin. Born August 20, 1985 in Indianapolis, IN to Randall F. & Charlotte S. (Russell) Barnett. James was a 2004 graduate of Rossville High School and a 2008 graduate of University of Evansville with a degree in political science. He had lived in St. Louis and Las Vegas for a short time. He was currently a data director for the Texas State Democratic Party. James was a member of the Lambda Chi Fraternity at the University of Evansville and a member of the Democratic Party. He was an Indianapolis Colts and Pacer fan.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
