    Ted & Family,
I am a prior student of your mother a few years back. I am very sorry to hear of her passing. She definitely had a positive impact on my life and I will always remember her. I learned much from her about academics and life. I can’t say that we always saw things eye-to-eye (especially her like of the class singing songs from musicals and square dancing) but I am a better person for knowing her.
    Sincerely, Nelson Slipher Indianapolis

    Ted & Family,
Your mother was one of my very favorite teachers. I was blessed to have her 3 years in a row in the class at Southside that combined two grades. Our class became very close with your mom, and benefited greatly from the individual & creative way she taught us. She had a lasting effect on all of us. I have a lot of fond memories from those 3 years that will last a lifetime. I hope it is a comfort to you that she touched so many lives in a positive way.
    Sincerely, Jan Sterling Ewing
