Georgia Ann Ayres

Georgia Ann Ayres 82, of Frankfort, IN, died at 6 p.m. November 15, 2012 at her home. Born July 8, 1930 in Frankfort, IN . She married Joseph P. Ayres on June 4, 1950 in Frankfort and he survives. Mrs. Ayres was a 1948 Frankfort High School graduate and was a lifelong Indiana resident. She was a homemaker and worked at Indiana Bell, Aldens and Grants Department Store. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and VFW Auxiliary.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, November 19th from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Women of the Moose Auxiliary.

Husband: Joseph P. Ayres of Frankfort 4 Daughters: Susan E. Ayres, Sandra K. Stingley, Jayne A. (Richard) Kuhns all of Frankfort and Janet L. (Paul) Ottinger of North Carolina 1 Son: Rickie L. Ayres of Bunker Hill, IN Brother: Dick Myers of Frankfort Nephew: Jim (Ella) Nickles of Frankfort 9 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Bruce William and Joseph P. Jr., her father, Charles Myers and her adoptive parents, who raised her, Elmer & Bessie Rogers.

    I got to know Georgia & family thru the VFW Auxiliary. Georgia always had a smile to give and so enjoyed visiting with friends and playing Bingo! We will miss her. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

    We got to know you mother thru the Moose in Frankfort, My mother Nina Fisher was a good friends of your mother. We are sorry for you family, but your mother is up with God and mother and Barb Adams mother, I am sure they are having a good time. Sorry we can not be with you at this time, but we now live in Noblesville, but out prayers are with you and your family
