Gary Gant Jr. 39, of Frankfort, died October 11, 2013 at his home. Born October 4, 1974 in Frankfort, IN, to Gary W. Gant Sr. and Melinda (Boone) Gant. He married Carla S. Theede on October 31, 2001 and she survives. Gary was a 1993 graduate of Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Frankfort resident. He was currently employed as a PMO at Frito Lay in Frankfort, where he had worked for over 20 years. Gary enjoyed boxing, fishing, hunting and baseball. He coached his boys baseball teams in Kirklin and Frankfort.

Visitation and Services

A memorial service honoring the life of Gary will be 1 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Nazarene Church Community Life Building. Family will receive friends following service.

Gant of Frankfort, 2 Daughters: Meeka (Terry) Chambers of Frankfort, Maya Gant at home, 5 Sons: Gavin & Garrett Gant at home, Brice Gant of Elwood, Austin Gant of Elwood, Allen Taymon of Frankfort, Step-son: Levi Smith of Russiaville, Mother: Melinda Boone Gant of Frankfort, 2 Granddaughters: Maleigha M. Chambers and Tessa Gant, Grandmother: Betty Boone of Frankfort and Grandfather: Phil Parsons of Frankfort.

    Carla I am very sorry for you and the kids loss. Always remember your not alone. I know the unanswered questions are very hard to deal with when my brother Josh McClain did the similar thing it doesn’t get easier, I still wait for him to come through the door.
