Dora Eunimae Crowell, 94, went to see her Lord on January 14, 2019 at Wesley Manor, Frankfort, Ind., where she had been a resident for 2 ½ years. She was born July 16, 1924 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Henry Martin Crowell & Gladys Levinah (Bishop) Crowell Madwell. She married Roscoe Crowell on May 29, 1948 in Merrillville, Ind and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2016 on their 68th wedding anniversary.
Dora Mae was a 1943 graduate of Frankfort High School. She and Roscoe were the owners of the former Nickel Nuck Restaurant. After they sold the restaurant, she worked at Norris Office Products, Frankfort Senior High School in the dietary department, Wesley Manor as a housekeeper and Clinton House in the laundry department and was Housekeeping Supervisor, retiring in 1994. Dora Mae was a charter member of the Grace Baptist Church. Her hobbies included; quilting, crocheting doilies and afghans, and collecting lamps, elephants and frogs.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Wesley Manor and ViaQuest Hospice for their loving care for Dora Mae and especially Clearance Shirley, her nurse for over 2 ½ years, Erin and Allison, along with all the other folks that loved on her.
Visitation and Services
A memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 900 S. Maish Road, Frankfort, on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. The Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial was in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Wesley Manor or ViaQuest Hospice.

2 Sons: Henry (Alice) Crowell of Taylors, SC, David (Kimberlyn) Crowell of Camarillo, CA, 3 Daughters: Brenda (David) McMillin of Frankfort, Linda (Tom) Clark of Frankfort, Edris (Arvid) Olson of Lafayette, 1 Brother: Roy (Jackie) Crowell of Pinehurst, TX, 18 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Martin, Robert and James Crowell and 2 grandsons.
