Dimple G. Carter

Dimple G. Carter 92 of Frankfort, IN died April 18, 2011 at Wesley Manor. Born August 7, 1918 in Paytonsburg, KY to George & Lena (Slave) Watson. She married Raymond L. Carter in June of 1936 in Burkesville, KY and he preceded her in death on June 24, 1960. Mrs. Carter grew up in Kentucky and attended school in Burkesville, KY. She and her husband farmed in North Vernon for two years before moving to Frankfort. She worked as a seamstress for Jules Simon, a cook for Star Cafeteria, in production for Carr Cabinet Company for 16 years and was custodian at ADM for 10 years. She retired in 1999. Mrs. Carter was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, April 22nd from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Cancer Society

2 Daughters: Rebecca Ann (Jack) Bowerman of Summerfield, FL and Peggy Jean (W. Calvin) Carr of Frankfort 4 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 2 Step Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson

Preceded by:

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Barbara Lee Carter on October 30, 2004, one granddaughter, two great granddaughters, four sisters and two brothers.
