Charles Daniel Robertson 76, of Mulberry, IN, died at 8:27 p.m. November 3, 2011 at his home following an extended illness. Born February 19, 1935 in Frankfort, IN to the late Ermon & Beatrice (Corwin) Robertson. He married Nellie M. Reamer on October 9, 1954 and she survives. Mr. Robertson attended Clarks Hill High School and was a lifelong Clinton County resident, living in Mulberry since 1977. He worked as a carpenter for A & J Realty from 1958-1971 and as a mechanic & heavy equipment operator for Hydro Conduit from 1971-1996, retiring in 1996. Mr. Robertson was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed Purdue sports, Indy and NASCAR racing, refurbishing and working on guns and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation and Services

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort. Visitation will be Monday, November 7th from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, Colfax, IN. Peggy Good will officiate. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Heart Association.

Wife: Nellie Robertson of Mulberry 5 Daughters: Anna (John) Davis of Frankfort, Dixie (Butch) Rees of Clarks Hill, Teresa (Bill) Young of rural Frankfort, Charlene (Greg) Smith of Frankfort and Carla (Eric) Wollenhaupt of Las Vegas, Nevada 2 Sons: Dan (Jeanna) Robertson of Colfax and Ben (Donna) Robertson of rural Frankfort Brother: Ralph (Janice) Robertson of Thorntown Sister: Phyllis Robertson of Lebanon 17 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren

Preceded by:

He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Robertson, granddaughter, Madison Wollenhaupt and grandson, Matthew Wollenhaupt.

    Dan, my cousin, was a good man. I always enjoyed talking to him about old times. He enjoyed life and his family.
