Carolyn B. Goad, 75 of Mooresville, passed away October 11, 2017 at her home. Born March 19, 1942 in Alexandria, VA to Didier Charles & Mary Ann (Robertson) Pfalzgraf. She married Darrell W. Goad on June 25, 1960 in Fairfax, VA and he preceded her in death on March 13, 2008.
Mrs. Goad was a homemaker and caretaker who loved her family and friends. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Fredericksburg, VA.
Visitation and Services
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park

She is survived by: 2 daughters: Carrie (Manuel) Garcia of Indianapolis, Virginia Ann (Scott Kochan) Lannin of Mooresville, 3 sons: Darrell W. (Trisha) Goad Jr. of King George, VA, John P. (Jeanie) Goad of Logansport, Joseph C. (Danielle) Goad of Bringhurst, 3 sisters: Rebecca (William) Proffitt of Damascus, VA, Mary Jane Munday of Winchester, VA, Betty Jean (Ronnie) Marshall of Fredericksburg, VA, brother: Didier (Alice) Pfalzgraf of Locust Grove, VA. 20 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson Don Lannin and brother-in-law, Thomas Munday.
I’m so sorry, I know what you are going through. We are here if you need us for anything. I love Aunt Carol so much she is the most loving person I know. I have memories of her that will last a life time. Love you all so much my prayers are with you all.

I just had a knee replacement last week so won’t be able to be there for all of you. Please know that you are are in our thoughts & prayers during these difficult days. May God comfort you.
