Brian Keith Day, 59, of rural Michigantown, Ind., died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2019 at his home. He was born September 13, 1959 in Salem, Indiana to Ronald E. & Peggy E. Day. He married Laurie Day and she preceded him in death on November 1, 2005, he then married Barbara (Wright) Ploughe on December 1, 2006 and she survives.
Brian was a 1977 graduate of Frankfort High School. He lived in Anderson from 1982-1995 before moving to Michigantown. He was a grocery manager, working at Ron’s Kwik Mart, Payless in Lafayette and Anderson and for the past 12 years, he worked for Schulz IGA in Frankfort. He was a fan of Jimmy Buffett, Alabama Football and the Chicago Cubs and Bears.
Visitation and Services
A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Arborwood by Shoup’s, 100 Golf Preserve Lane, Frankfort on Friday, May 31, 2019. Following the celebration, family will receive friends until 7 p.m. at Arborwood. Memorial donations may be made to Physiocare Hospice, 625 S. Earl Ave., Suite D, Lafayette, IN 47904.

Mother: Peggy (Ron) Day Weaver of Michigantown, Wife: Barbara Day of rural Michigantown, 2 Daughters: Kelly Day of Kerrville, TX, April (Brad) Kaufman of West Lafayette, 3 Brothers: Barry (Teresa) Day of Jasper, Brad (Kathy) Day of Flora, Bruce (Edith) Day of Michigantown, 2 Step-Sons: Eric (Samantha) Ploughe of Waddell, AZ, Jason Ploughe of Casa Grande, AZ 7 Grandchildren: Jacob & Aiden Ploughe, Kira Osborne, Colten Marmouze, Carissa & Brantley Kaufman and Oliver Dixon.

his first wife and his father.
