Barbara Ellen Eldridge, 84, of Frankfort, died 5:07 p.m. January 11, 2017 at Wesley Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Born July 27, 1932 in Frankfort to Ivory Warren & Leona Marie (Johnson) Scott. She married Richard Neil Eldridge on October 11, 1952 in Lafayette and he preceded her in death on April 16, 1997. Mrs. Eldridge attended Frankfort High School and was a lifelong Frankfort resident.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home. Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, January 14th at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Guardian Angel Hospice.

Survived by:

6 Daughters: Brenda (Michael) Ticen of Cutler, Ind., Margo (Jeff) Price of Lafayette, Ind., Gale (Jon "Mark") Calloway of Frankfort, Ind., Diane (Betty Mundell) Starnes of Frankfort, Ind., Stacie (Fred) Kramer of Michigantown, Ind., Dr. Stephanie (Dr. Amir) Shirmohammad, 4 Brothers: Bill Scott, Wesley (Shirley) Scott, Richard (Cathy) Scott and Marvin (Anna) Scott all of Frankfort, Ind., 2 Sisters: Bonnie Wade and Velva (Jack) King both of Frankfort, Ind., Sister-in-Law: Patsy Scott of Frankfort, Ind., 12 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

    Now mom has wings and is soaring with angels in heaven It’s very hard to lose a mother even when some burdens are set free. You did right by your mother Gale. You can grieve without guilt. Take some time for yourself now and cherish your time with mom well spent. I love you

    I am very sad of your mom’s passing. Your mom was a very sweet and loving person. I remember the good ole’ days at your house and your mom. She was always fun to be around. Cherish your memories.
