We are sorry for your loss. Mrs. A was a kind, generous woman who said she really didn’t mind the noisy boys playing poker in her basement. You are in our thoughts and prayers. -Greg

Facebook Twitter GoogleTo Ann’s beloved family: It is a less gracious world now with Ann’s absence. My heart goes out to you all, and as so many assess, the words “lovely” and “lady” describe Ann so accurately. Her cheerfulness, great smile and laughter were all hallmarks of her generous spirit. Other than being the doting and supportive mother of Nancy and Charlie, whom I knew in the classes ahead of me at FHS, my thoughts of Ann always turn to her role as a beloved librarian at Frankfort Community Public Library. Being an enthusiastic library user as a kid and long after, it was great to see Ann so frequently on trips there, and to be greeted with her great warmth and desire to assist. She enjoyed her work and the public she served, and as someone who grew into the role of librarian himself, I can say that she was a standout in her profession. She and her colleagues made the library feel like a second home to all who visited. Whenever I saw her, whether at work or in public, she always had a great smile and hearty greeting for those she met. Thank you, dear Ann, for gracing our lives so beautifully, and to your family for loving you so faithfully. You will be greatly missed, and my hope is that your loved ones will find great comfort in knowing that yours was a life lived fully and with heart.
